Who We Are

Located in the heart of Gasparilla Island, the Boca Grande Village Inn offers a perfect blend of convenience and local charm.

Just steps away from the beach, the Inn presents guests with five two-bedroom units equipped with a full kitchen, living room, fully furnished dining area, flat screen TVs with built in DVD player, and central air/heat. Guests can also choose the Inn’s two efficiencies, offering the same allure and comparable amenities as the larger units. Internet connection is free to all visitors.

Guests can also enjoy a variety of local restaurants, from tasty local fare for a quick meal to a selection of bistros for fine dining. Grocery and gift shopping as well as a variety of services—from a relaxing massage session to bike and golf-cart rentals—are all available at walking distance from the Inn.

Visitors can also benefit from great fishing opportunities, a seven-mile-long bike and running path, a museum and library, wonderful historic sights, an active local art community, a collection of galleries, and the peace, quiet and quaintness that only the Village of Boca Grande can offer.

The Community

Half way between Sarasota and Fort Myers, on the small barrier island Gasparilla, you will find the small village of Boca Grande. Often described as “old world charm” and as a place “not yet discovered” you will find no traffic signals, no chain stores or restaurants, no neon signs and no high rise buildings.

What you will find is a 7 mile long bike path the full length of the island (Bikes and golf carts can be rented right outside your door at Village Inn), pristine sandy beaches, fabulous shelling, boating and fishing (it’s the Tarpon capital of the world). What you will also find is an array of great restaurants and shops catering to locals and tourists,as well as art galleries, library and museum.

Boca Grande has managed to keep its charm and coastal flavor as a sleepy beach town with local fishermen delivering fresh seafood directly from the Gulf of Mexico to the restaurants on the island.
